A K-12 educational setting in Athens, AL, is seeking a qualified professional to provide comprehensive psychological services under a contract for the current school year. This role focuses on supporting students academic, social, and emotional development through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including assessments of cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports to guide Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement support plans
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts
- Assist in monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in an educational setting
- Knowledge of current assessment tools and psychological evaluation techniques
