Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech-language pathology assistance in a K-12 school setting located in Hixson, TN, supporting elementary-aged students. This full-time contract position extends through the school year, with an anticipated start as soon as possible and ending on May 21, 2026. Assignments will vary across 1 to 3 campuses depending on caseload requirements within the Hamilton County School District.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary school students.
- Conduct evaluations and assist with assessments.
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and planning.
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and education staff to support student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student data.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee SLPA license.
- Current Tennessee Department of Education Certification.
- Valid School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Ability to provide on-site services; remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

- On-site work required in the Chattanooga area, specifically Hixson, Tennessee.
