Located in Soddy Daisy, TN, this full-time contract position seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 education within the Chattanooga area. The role involves working on-site across 1-3 schools depending on caseload and focuses primarily on elementary school age groups. This is a contract through the current school year, with an anticipated assignment from ASAP through May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Conduct evaluations and provide progress reports.
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to support student goals.
- Manage caseload effectively across assigned campuses.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee SLPA license.
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification.
- School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement.
- Previous experience working in schools preferred.
- Ability to work full-time hours, approximately 35-37.5 hours per week.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families.
