A full-time, contract position is available for a Licensed Texas School Psychologist (LSSP/PSYCH) to support K12 students at schools located in Cypress, TX. This role requires a valid and active Texas LSSP or Psychologist license, with candidates expected to provide proof of licensure upon application. School-based experience is essential, and candidates must have a background working with diverse student needs including evaluations, behavior support, and consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs.
- Provide behavior intervention and support services within the school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individual education plan (IEP) development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas LSSP or Psychologist license (license verification required).
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K12 students.
- Demonstrated ability to address behavioral challenges and support students with Autism spectrum disorders.
- Familiarity with school-based psychological assessment tools and protocols.
