Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support students at a high school in the Fredericksburg, VA area. This position will be based at one school and runs from early January through the end of May for the current school year. The role is full-time, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students, contributing as an integral member of the districts mental health support team alongside social workers, and utilizing expertise to support student well-being and academic success. The position requires active licensure as a psychologist and a valid Virginia Department of Education certification.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with high school-age students and demonstrate strong proficiency in psychological evaluations. Collaboration and effective communication skills are important to support the multidisciplinary team and meet student needs.
