Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave from January through the first week of April at two elementary schools serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position requires on-site presence in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 48 students (40 at one elementary school and 8 at another)
- Managing therapy sessions across both campuses, including two half days at the additional school site
- Collaborating with school staff and maintaining detailed documentation for each students progress
- Adhering to all district policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Preferred certification: SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- If a Clinical Fellow (CF), supervision must be arranged prior to starting, as the district cannot provide supervision
- Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) on-site across multiple locations
- Experience working in an elementary school setting is highly desirable
