A licensed Occupational Therapist is sought for a full-semester contract position working within a high school district in Chandler, AZ. This role involves providing specialized OT services across multiple high schools, engaging directly with students to support their functional and educational goals. The position is on-site and requires an itinerant schedule between high schools, offering a dynamic work environment focused on adolescent development and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to high school students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by district policies.
- Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, First Aid/CPR, and mandatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
- IVP clearance card.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload efficiently.
