An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized leave coverage at an elementary school in Phoenix, AZ. This contract position involves working with a general education caseload of approximately 30 students, offering support to young learners in need of speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students within a public school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality policies and professional standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with ADE Certification
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Card and appropriate health license required
- Experience working with general education students, particularly in an elementary school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to commit to part-time hours, approximately 22.5 hours per week, following a 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, three days per week
