A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available for the current school year at an elementary school serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade in Chandler, AZ. This contract role involves hands-on, onsite work supporting students' physical therapy needs within the school environment, focusing on individual educational plans and collaborative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized educational plans based on thorough evaluations
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-8 students, ensuring therapeutic goals are met and adjusted as needed
- Supervise therapy assistants and aides by assigning, monitoring, and evaluating their work
- Deliver in-service training to school staff and parents, presenting new materials, processes, and procedures to enhance therapy support
- Offer families home programs to encourage continuity of care and carry-over of therapeutic objectives outside school
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Arizona Physical Therapist license required
- Must possess an IVP fingerprint card
- Experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication skills for training and collaboration with school personnel and families
- Ability to manage and supervise support staff effectively

Assignment Duration: ASAP through May 20, 2026
Work Schedule: Full-time, approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week
