Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester occupational therapy position is available in Phoenix, AZ, serving high school students within an itinerant role across multiple high schools. This on-site contract opportunity offers the chance to provide specialized OT services in a dynamic educational environment from January 5, 2026, through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to high school students needs.
- Travel between various high school campuses within the district to support caseload requirements.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures on campus.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Background clearance including an Intra-Agency Volunteer Program (IVP) card or equivalent.
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently.
