Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available at an elementary school in Scottsdale, AZ, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role runs through the current school year, ending on May 20, 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising therapy assistants and aides by assigning tasks and monitoring their work to ensure quality service delivery
- Providing in-service training sessions to school staff and parents, including presenting new materials, explaining updated processes, and demonstrating therapeutic procedures
- Developing and implementing individualized educational plans based on student evaluations, with ongoing program assessment and revisions as necessary
- Supplying students and families with home programs designed to reinforce therapeutic goals beyond the school environment
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active Arizona Physical Therapist license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (must be present)
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably within a school setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel, parents, and other therapists
This position requires onsite work only; virtual work is not permitted by the school district.
