Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a contract role for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage at an elementary school in Gilbert, AZ. The assignment runs from January 21, 2025, through April 1, 2026, with a work schedule of 22.5 hours per week across three days (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). The SLP will support approximately 30 general education students on their caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students as part of FMLA coverage.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports compliant with district standards.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines for speech therapy in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Current Health License relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Availability to work onsite as this role does not permit remote work.
- Knowledge of general education environments and speech therapy protocols.
