A full-time position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to serve a K-12 school district in Mansfield, TX. This itinerant role involves working onsite across six schools, including a high school, middle school, intermediate school, and three elementary schools, providing comprehensive psychological services and evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all psychological evaluations, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as part of initial assessments.
- Perform counseling evaluations and provide consultative counseling in coordination with Licensed Professional Counselors.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings only when cases are controversial or involve parental disagreement, with mandatory attendance for Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs).
- Manage caseloads efficiently across multiple school settings within the district.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working in a K-12 educational environment is preferred.
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultative skills.
- Ability to manage itinerant responsibilities and multiple school assignments effectively.
Location and Schedule:
- On-site position based in Mansfield, Texas.
- Full-time contract role, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration from ASAP start date through May 21, 2026.
